Project Description

For this project, my Graphic Design class was tasked with making an album cover for either a preexisting artist, or one we could create ourselves. I, being an avid Lady Gaga fan, decided to base my project around her out of respect for her craft. Heavily inspired by her early 2000’s grunge era, I wanted to create an album that brought in aspects of her earlier styles with influences of her artpop album, an album that took a lot of pride in its inclusion of a wide range of styles of art. I knew I wanted the work to showcase my Illustrative skills, something I have always been very proud of. So, after working up a sketch, I brought everything in to Photoshop and Illustrator to create the design.
