Legend of Zelda Inspired Glass Sculpture

Project Description

At Illinois State University, I got flexibility in choosing my courses. Having an open course slot, I decided to take a glass blowing class. Having seen videos online, I was intrigued with the process and wanted to try it out for myself. In this course, we got to create glass forms using a casting process with plaster and clay. Having been playing the new game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I was inspired to create a design reminiscent of the ‘Sheikah’, a design that focuses on an eye and fluid like forms.
