Static Noise
Project Description
Painting has always been a deep love of mine. Ever since I was a kid, all I wanted was to be arm deep in paint. I have fond memories of sitting at the dining table with my grandmother at her house, painting ceramic figurines she collected. When I learned my class was going to participate in an exhibit at a local coffee shop, I knew it was time to break out the paint. Painting has always been my therapy, its been there for me when I needed an outlet to process darker and complicated emotions. This project was a way to process something hard I went through when I was only 15 years old. This painting expresses themes of longing and a need to be heard, but falling on deaf ears.
