Super Mario Woodcut

Project Description

At Illinois State University, I got to experience a multimedia course that got me to familiarize myself with vectors in Illustrator. For this course, we did a multitude of things such as woodcutting and vinyl design. For my final, I was tasked with using woodcutting to create a 3D scene, using intricate forms to make the woodcut stand as a scene. Wanting to pay homage to a video game I loved playing growing up, Super Paper Mario, I took a game and created a 3D scene much like the game does.
