VIVA! Performing Arts School

Project Description

VIVA! is a flier and poster design I did for Viva Performing Arts in Dixon, Illinois. This was a work I was tasked with at my internship with Stahr Media in Rock Falls, Illinois. I utilized Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for this design, wanting to emulate the classy feel of the business while utilizing the style they used for their current website. This is an example of being able to follow laid out brand guidelines in a way to keep consistency with new posters and designs.

Color Palette

For the color palette, I was tasked with following the preexisting color palette. This was good experience in a real world scenario where I would not have as much leniency with every design aspect.

Typography

Typography was pre chosen by the client as I was tasked with implementing a design that closely resemble their ideals and values from their website.

Implementation

I got the pleasure of seeing my work be transformed into a real working banner. As this was a design for a festival, I was a present designer that took critique from outside perspectives to fix a clean and working design.
